Chamber Music Summer School - Mount Buller runs each January at Mount Buller Ski village situated in the north-eastern alps of Victoria. The school is organised each year by a committee who also attend as students. CMSS-MB is residential and caters for up to 12 chamber groups composed of string players and with occasional woodwinds. For 2016 we cannot support groups with piano. The 2016 school will take place between January 17 and 24.

Professional direction and running of the summer school are provided by visiting staff who are arranged to vary from year to year. In January 2016 overall direction will be by Wilma Smith who as Artistic Director has enrolled an outstanding group of tutors. These will include (from NZ) violinist Donald Armstrong, and from Melbourne violists Caroline Henbest and Christopher Moore and cellists Svetlana Bogosavljevic and Molly Kadarauch. We are delighted to welcome these people and look forward to the qualities of musical experience and teaching ability that they will bring to the summer school.
