Chamber Music Summer School – Mount Buller runs each January at the Mount Buller Ski village situated in the north-eastern alps of Victoria. This residential school caters for up to 12 chamber string groups, composed mainly of string players. Planning of the Summer school is carried out each year by an experienced committee who also attend as students.
The 40th Summer school will run from Sunday 18th – Sunday 25th January 2026. This would run in accordance with a strict Covid plan in place, and we ask that all participants are fully vaccinated.
Michele Walsh (violin) is the Artistic Director and she has invited a distinguished and eminent team of colleagues to lead the summer school: Lachlan Bramble (violin), Caroline Henbest (viola), Paticia Pollett (viola), Rosemary Quinn (cello) and Patrick Murphy (cello).
