Chamber Music summer School

Chamber Music Summer School – Mount Buller runs each January at the Mount Buller Ski village situated in the north-eastern alps of Victoria. This residential school caters for up to 12 chamber string groups, composed mainly of string players. Planning of the summer school is carried out each year by an experienced committee who also attend as students. The 2018 school will take place between January 21 and 28. The summer school fee including all tuition, accommodation and meals for 7 days will be $980.

We are delighted to be welcoming back distinguished Brisbane-based violinist, chamber musician and pedagogue Michele Walsh as Artistic Director, who has designed a rewardingly rich and diverse chamber music experience providing participants with 7 days of performance workshops and tuition.

January 2018 will mark the 34th Summer School at Mount Buller. Michele has invited an eminent team of colleagues to lead the summer school. They are: Margaret Connolly (violin), Patricia Pollett (viola), Caroline Henbest (viola), Rosemary Quinn (cello) and Patrick Murphy (cello).
